Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered at HoneyFund - click on the “registry” tab on our website and follow the link to our registry. In lieu of gifts we are asking for monetary donations to help fund either our dream honeymoon, a down payment on our first home, or any amount you’d like to contribute to our nest egg!

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is “dressy casual”. Please dress up for the occasion but know that this is not a super formal affair! The bride will be wearing her wedding dress.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We will have an open bar and a bartender for the duration of the reception. Wine and beer will be part of the open bar, while liquors/mixed drinks will be available through cash bar. We’re poor :( There will also be non-alcoholic options like soda, lemonade, water, and coffee included in the open bar.

There will be a taco bar with choices of carne asada, margarita chicken, and a vegan option of sweet potatoes & corn along with all of the fixings

What Should I Expect?

Answer

From 5-6ish enjoy mingling with your drinks. The Riverside Plaza has also been reserved along with the Steamplant, where our dog Barley will make an appearance! Make sure to step outside and greet the guest of honor between 5:00 and 5:45ish. Dinner will be available around 6:00 followed by a champagne toast. Music and dancing will begin around 6:30 and will end along with the after party at 8:00. Afterwords, the bride and groom will walk up F Street to continue the party at Benson’s Tavern. Come along to toast the bride and groom with some Irish Car Bombs!

Should I get a room?

Salida is approximately 2.5 hours south of Denver and 3 hours southeast of Grand Junction. We recommend lodging at least for the night of the after party so you don’t have to endure a late night drive through the mountains. Please visit the ‘Travel’ page for information on group rate lodging

After the reception concludes the bride and groom invite you to hit up the bars on historic F Street!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes, feel free to bring your babies and kids! Just know that Kirstie has an affinity for 90s West Coast hip hop and some of the songs will not be child friendly. Plan to entertain them yourselves :)
