Kirsten and Sohum's love story began on a beautiful day in November 2018, when they met at Kirsten's sister's wedding in New Orleans. Jessica and Brandon, the bride and groom, had invited Sohum to join the festivities, and little did they know that they were actually bringing two hearts together. Jessica, who knew Sohum for over 7 years, couldn't help but play matchmaker and kept insisting that Kirsten and Sohum should spend more time together. It didn't take long for them to realize that they were meant to be. Their chemistry was undeniable, and they shared an unforgettable night in Atlanta, laughing and getting to know each other even more. Despite the distance between them, Sohum never let go of Kirsten, and their connection grew stronger with each passing day. They talked on FaceTime all the time, and Sohum made sure to visit Kirsten in San Diego in September 2019. It was during that visit that they both knew they had something special. They didn't want to be apart anymore, and even though it meant leaving Kirsten's respective home, they decided to move to Midtown Atlanta and start a new life together. Their journey reached new heights when Sohum proposed to Kirsten on the rooftop of their apartment complex in March 2021. It was a moment full of surprises, and Kirsten's dad even captured it on camera! She said yes without hesitation, and they continue to live their lives with love and joy. Kirsten and Sohum are excited to embark on this new adventure together, and they are grateful to have each other as they continue to grow both personally and as a couple.
