Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dressy Casual: What does this mean? Darker, more formal colors are recommended but not required. Women can wear below-the-knee dresses, slip dresses, a dressy skirt and top, or an elegant pantsuit (styled with heels, nice wedges, or formal flats). As for men, opt for a dress shirt and slacks, with the option to wear a tie. Overall we want everyone to be comfortable. The ceremony is in a church with the reception at a nature center. Please remember November weather can be variable but you will always have an indoor option for the night!

When should I RSVP by?

We kindly ask that our guests have filled their RSVPs by September 18th. We appreciate your responses in a timely matter so we may inform vendors

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be parking at both the Ceremony and the Reception. You may leave your vehicle at the reception location overnight. The gates will reopen at 8am on Sunday Morning! Take an Uber on us!! Have fun and get home safe!!

Can I bring a date?

Your invitation will indicate whether you have a plus one or if your partner is invited. Please feel free to ask if you are unsure!

While we love you and your kiddos we would like you to relax on a child free night and enjoy yourselves!

What can I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Please note there will be about 2 hours of time between the anticipated end of the ceremony at Lumen Christi Catholic Church and the beginning of our reception at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center. Please see our "Recommended local activities list" for things to do in the down time. You may also want to check in to your hotel if you are staying the night, visit local bars, or even bring some shoes to check out Schlitz Audubon Nature Center during the day!
