Love lights the way!

We met through a dating app and began our story by going to a Brewers Game in Milwaukee, WI. Once we got to our section in the nosebleeds, we realized an entire family had taken over our seats. Instead of making it a bummer or a scene, we did the Midwest thing, said absolutely nothing, and sat behind them and quietly heckled them amongst ourselves for the entirety of the game. Who won? Who played? Who knows...... but the laughter, goofiness and pure joy of company would be a day to remember. Over the next few weeks we spent almost every day together; Dinner, movies, out meeting the friends (sorry again for all they drilled you on Greg), we were soon inseparable. After a month of officially dating each other Ava was in desperate need of a break from her crazy schedule and was looking for an adventure. Gregory was an experienced traveler, and one night over our favorite asiago dip, Ava was discussing her dream of going to Ireland. She was worrying about going alone, so Greg boldly offered to come with! Two months later we were jet set to the Emerald Isle for 11 Days. The highlight of the trip was Gregory telling Ava "I think I love you" on the cliff sides of Giants Causeway in front of dozens of sheep. Soon, after our Irish adventure, Ava convinced Greg to get our Golden Retriever Mix Tonto, then 2 years later convinced him to adopt our Wheaton Terrier Maddie, then eventually added one more in another two years with our Border Collie Ricky. Anyone see a trend here? Gregory and Ava share a love for their pets, being outdoors, cozy movie nights and of course making life an adventure. Sharing an apartment in East Troy, a 30ft camper in Delafield, and a lovely home in Waukesha, we have been on so many adventures over the years! Gregory took Ava on a surprise camping trip to Mackinac Island, MI in October 2023. On a birding outing (where we saw absolutely no birds) Gregory asked Ava to marry him on the shores of Lake Huron between two offshore lighthouses. We have been on countless adventures, 12 states, 2 countries, many trails and trials and loved each other through it all. Five years of sharing our lives and forever to go! We can't wait to continue love and laughter in our lives as husband and wife! We cannot be happier to share our love and joy with all of you! Cheers to 11/9/2024
