If you know anything about Richmond, you know they have great breweries! Scott’s Addition is the hub of the city’s brewing scene, with cideries, taprooms, and distilleries housed in converted warehouses. Bold street murals and string lights brighten the area, and seasonally focused destination restaurants, a retro bowling alley, and a cinema make it a popular evening hangout. If you’re around for the entire weekend, you’ll see us out and about this area on Sunday!
John loves this place! A West Coast Based Brewery known for their IPAs, this spot has some of the best beer and bites in town (in our opinion). Visit their website above to schedule a brewery tour, if you’d like!
Also known as Upper Fan, the compact Museum District is home to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, with works by Picasso and Fabergé. Nearby, the Virginia Museum of History & Culture houses exhibits on state heritage in an elegant neoclassical building. Brick row homes and detached townhouses in hues of spearmint, navy, and yellow line the streets, and old-growth trees and bold street murals add further color. This is such a charming part of town and if you really want to explore and learn more about the area, this is the spot to do it!
