We’re gathering at West Sixth NuLu, one of Louisville’s most beloved gathering spots nestled in the heart of the vibrant NuLu arts district — a community-first craft brewery with a warm Marketplace Hall and beautiful indoor/outdoor patio. We’re going all out with a true Southern brunch and bourbon experience. We’ll be raising a glass of Kentucky’s finest to good company and new beginnings. This is more than just a meal. It’s the first chapter of our families becoming one. Come ready to meet the people who mean the most to us, share a plate, swap stories, and celebrate what’s ahead together. We need the men of both families to come together for a little pre-party mission — setting up the tent for the engagement celebration at Kentucky State University. This is your chance to bond and have a hand in making this moment happen. What to Expect: Setting up the tent, arranging tables and chairs, and getting the space looking right so that when the rest of the family arrives on Saturday, everything is perfect. Dress comfortably, wear shoes you don’t mind working in, and come ready to handle business.

The night before homecoming, we’re taking it downtown. Both families together on the casino floor for a night of gambling, bourbon, and cigars in the heart of Louisville. Try your luck, pour up Kentucky’s finest, light one up, and soak in the company. Before we hit the yard, we’re hitting Derby City Gaming.

What started as homecoming became so much more! Join us as we celebrate our engagement surrounded by the people we love most on the yard that means everything to us. For guests arriving via the East-West Connector (KY 676), take the exit for Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Stay in the left lane, continue straight, then turn right onto Athletic Drive to reach Alumni Stadium. Guests coming from Highway 64 can turn onto the East-West Connector, follow it to MLK Blvd, turn right, continue straight, and turn right onto Athletic Drive to reach the stadium. If the main entrance is crowded, you may also enter from Coral Harbor Drive, pass University Drive, and drive up to the stadium. Paid parking passes are available for $50 (link coming soon), and free parking lots are also on campus with golf cart shuttles. For shorter walks or accessible parking, areas near University Drive dorms like Young Hall are a good option if main lots are full. Please bring anything for comfort—fans, walking shoes, lawn chairs, etc. Food and drinks will be available from vendors, plus catered options for guests.
