Our Story

The Wedding Website of Gabby Chesney and Kirk Carter

Gabby and Kirk's love story fell together when it seemed like the rest of the world was falling apart. After matching on Hinge, they had their first date via Zoom. They spent the night eating takeout (so awkward on Zoom turns out), talking, and showing their animals to each other. The days and nights that followed were filled with watching reality TV "together", late night phone calls, and lots of texting until, after a few weeks of quarantine dating, they finally met in person for the first time. Over time, their relationship continued to grow- in-person not on zoom! They even got vaccinated together- a true Moderna love story. In July of 2021, Kirk got offered a job back in Minneapolis where he attended law school. After much discussion, Gabby & Kirk packed up their Florida lives (and animals) and hit the road to Minnesota. Since then they've bought a house, settled in to Saint Paul, gotten engaged... and a whole lot more that doesn't fit within the 1000 character text limit!
