Black-Tie: Ladies should consider floor-length dresses and gowns, while gentlemen should consider tuxedos and suits.
The ceremony will take place at Wayfarers Chapel which is on a cliffside but semi indoors in a glass chapel. The cocktail hour will take place at Terranea Resort at Catalina Terrace—which will provide partial coverage by a tree and umbrellas throughout the space. The reception is indoors at the Catalina Ballroom.
Guests should expect moderate temperature. Likely high 60s—mid 70s, with an ocean breeze. In the evening, please expect it may be cool.
Please keep in mind that our wedding is not close to the freeway. We ask that you plan accordingly, if you wish to attend the ceremony, as it starts promptly at 4:00 pm. Guests are encouraged to self park in the chapel parking lot. When arriving to Terranea Resort, you have the option to valet or self park. Please then make your way down to Catalina Terrace/Ballroom which is on the 2nd level. Signage and resort staff at the venue will help direct you towards the appropriate locations.
This is an adult only affair.
Terranea Resort offers taxi service which can be found at their valet or concierge desk. Ubers are available however difficult to call for as the resort is situated far from the main city and freeway that this option means possible cancellations by the driver. We highly recommend using a taxi service if you need to get somewhere.
