Historic Downtown Grapevine
Just 1 mile from the Gaylord Texan, visit historic downtown Grapevine! The area is filled with shops and great eats, with an adorable small town charm. We recommend touring some of the areas wineries, enjoying seasonal activities, or stopping for a bite at Harvest Hall in the new Hotel Vin.
Southlake Town Square
Visit the brides hometown and explore shops, restaurants, and so much more. This is one of the metroplex’s most popular shopping areas that also has lovely scenery to enjoy on a nice day.
Grapevine Lake
There are many places around the lake to rent boats or participate in water activities. The Gaylord Texan sits on Grapevine Lake, with Silver Lake Marina being on the drive into the complex. Have some fun in the sun prior to our big day.
Cowboys Golf Club
Cowboys golf club is in close proximity to the Gaylord Texan and comes highly recommended by the Groom and Father of the Bride.

Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center
So many things to do, you won’t have to leave the hotel all weekend! The Gaylord offers a water park, four different restaurants, shops, an art studio, a massive sports bar, an arcade, and even has it's own river walk! Fort Worth Stockyards
If you arrive to town early and are looking to fill up your whole day, we highly recommend visiting Fort Worth! Just a few of our favorite spots include: The stock yards, Hotel Drover, Billy Bob’s Texas (the worlds largest honkey tonk), Joe T Garcia’s, and Sundance Square.
Dallas
The bride and groom currently live in Dallas and have a never ending list of favorite things to do if you'd like to spend your day there. Some of our favorite places include: The Dallas Arboretum, White Rock Lake, Katy Trail Ice House, Bishop Arts District, Kylde Warren Park, and North Park Mall. Their favorite local restaurants are Las Palmas and Café Madrid.
