To ensure we can arrange appropriate accommodations, we kindly ask that all RSVPs be submitted no later than December 15th. That said, the sooner we know if you'll be joining us, the better—so please RSVP as soon as your schedule allows!.
The hotel, ceremony, and reception will all take place at the Izaak Walton property, so if you're staying with us onsite, no additional transportation will be needed. It’s all just steps away—convenient and stress-free!
We’re so excited you’ll be joining us! Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate the guests specifically listed on the invitation. If a plus-one was included, it will be noted there. Thank you for understanding—we truly appreciate it!
While we love your little ones, we kindly ask that children stay with a trusted caregiver. We understand that may not be possible for everyone. If you do need to bring children over the age of 1, please reach out to Trenton or Kira ahead of time to confirm—this will help us ensure there's adequate space, meals and accommodations for all.
Yes! There is plenty of parking in the front of the hotel for all guests.
Please arrive between 2:30- 2:45 pm, and be seated by 2:50 pm. We will be beginning promptly at 3:00 pm.
This lodge is a bit off the beaten path, but there's a main highway that leads directly to it, and it’s very well plowed in the winter. The road winds alongside a river, so for safety and convenience, we highly recommend staying at the Lodge rather than driving home in the dark after the wedding. There’s no cell service at the Lodge, but don't worry — there’s strong Wi-Fi throughout all the buildings. I've stayed here several times and honestly forget there’s no cell service, since you can easily call or text over Wi-Fi from anywhere on the property (just make sure to turn on wifi calling prior to leaving cell service). The lack of cell service actually adds to the charm. It gives you the chance to unplug and fully enjoy a peaceful, secluded Montana experience. I promise, this place is straight out of a Hallmark movie — it’s dreamy, cozy, and absolutely magical in the winter. That’s exactly why we chose it for our wedding!
No—but you will drive farther than you think. The Izaak Walton Inn is located about 20 miles past the West Glacier Entrance. We highly recommend turning your GPS on early, as you will lose cell service about 20 miles before reaching the Inn. Look for a large blue LOGE sign on the left side of the highway (when coming from the west) and a blue train car on the right side of the highway marking the entrance. Once you turn onto Izaak Walton Road, it will lead you directly to the Inn.
Yes! Outside of the provided food from the wedding events (dinner both Friday and Saturday night, and breakfast burritos Sunday morning), there is a restaurant located in the Inn that serves lunch and dinner. They will also have grab and go breakfast options too. If you prefer to do some of your own cooking, all of the cabins, and cabooses have a full kitchen and all the other rooms are equipped with a fridge and microwave. The nearest grocery store is about 40 mins away, so best to stop on your way to the Lodge if you would like groceries for the weekend.
Yes-mostly :) The ceremony will partially be outside. The wedding guests will all be seated inside the Pavilion however the garage doors will be open as the wedding party will be standing just outside. This will make it chilly inside; a shawl or coat for sitting during the ceremony is advised. The reception will be all inside the Pavilion (garage doors closed). However, the only bathrooms available will be a short walk across the parking lot to a heated building. This area will be shoveled, de-iced and well-lit. If you're apart of any of the group photos, those will all be taking place outside as well. Now if you love to be outside in the winter, there will be both gas and wood fire pits going all weekend for you to enjoy a little fresh air!
Our Welcome Party on Friday evening is a Roaring 20's theme, if you need some inspiration watch The Great Gatsby. Ladies, think flapper-style dresses with fringe, sequins, or beading, paired with pearls, and feathered headbands. Gents, go for a suit or suspenders with a bow tie, and a fedora or newsboy cap. Other, less fancy, variations of the 1920s are also widely accepted (fun police outfits, newsboys etc.) The Ceremony and Reception are semi-formal, knee-length or longer dresses for women, and slacks, a nice shirt, and jacket for men. With the ceremony partially outdoors (see previous question), and some walking between buildings, it is advised to wear a closed-toed shoe with a little grip and to bring a jacket or shawl.
Friday Welcome Party: Join us in the main bar inside the Inn, where a cash bar (credit card also taken) will be available for liquor, beer, seltzers and wine. Saturday Cocktail Hour & Reception: Enjoy an open bar featuring beer, wine, and seltzers, with a cash bar option for liquor.
