In 2013, Anthony and Kira met during their first job interview at Dutch Springs Aqua Park. After both landing the job, rumors of Anthony having a crush on Kira quickly began. Kira never complained when her coworkers encouraged her to take Anthony's order at the food stand for a chance to talk with the "cute guy who is always looking at planes." Their romantic relationship began in May 2015, after attending a talent show where Kira's cousin and Anthony's sister were performing. They instantly rekindled, and Anthony asked if Kira would like to fly with him sometime. Of course, she said yes, and they went on their first date in a Cessna 152 airplane shortly after. They shared their first kiss flying over Reading, PA. Anthony was able to attend Kira's high school graduation, and they began their lengthy long-distance relationship throughout college. Anthony enlisted in the United States Marine Corps soon after graduating from college. Kira wrote to Anthony every single day while he was in basic training, as it was their only mode of communication for months. They continued to support each others' goals as Anthony traveled for trainings to become an airline pilot, and Kira moved to Virginia for her first full-time job as a speech-language pathologist. Kira and Anthony prioritized supporting each other's individual goals, all while remaining together and deepening their relationship along the way. Before they knew it, hours long phone calls, FaceTime dates, and letters became a thing of the past as they started looking for their first home together near their parents. They built a home and moved in together in September 2024. On November 16th, 2024, Anthony and Kira took a walk in Jacobsburg State Park, where Anthony had a beautiful picnic set up to propose. This special day continued as Anthony had their families together at his parents' house to celebrate their engagement that evening. They feel incredibly blessed to have each other throughout every big and small moment, surrounded by their family and friends. After already 10 years together, they cannot wait to celebrate their love and commitment to each other with their loved ones on their wedding day!
