We went here on our first date (and our second date, actually) and love this spot for a Tuesday date night when they have free pinball. Check out the arcade and then head to the brewery for a drink.
Another early date spot for us! This small park is tucked away in an industrial area of Lexington and boasts lush trees and easy walking paths, great for a quick, casual hike.
The Arboretum is especially beautiful in the fall. Featuring long, paved walking paths, it's a great place to take in some of Kentucky's native plants and learn more about the various ecosystems around the state. Or you can just stroll through the gardens and catch up with friends! Pro tip: keep an eye out for any trails off the paved walkway if you want a little more adventure.
A weekly tradition for us, the farmer's market has so many great options when it comes to produce, fresh meat, flowers, honey, baked goods and more. The Saturday market is in downtown Lexington, or if you want to grab a few things Sunday before heading home, visit the Sunday location at 398 Southland Drive.
Figuring our way out of a haunted mansion turned out to be one of the most important nights of our lives (thank you, John, for being our matchmaker). If you've ever been skeptical of escape rooms, we promise you'll have a great time (and maybe meet the love of your life in the process??? We can't guarantee that part).
