RSVP cards are included with the formal invitations. Please include your name(s), if you accept or decline the invitation, and any dietary needs or restrictions you or your party have. The deadline is September 21, although we wouldn't mind getting it sooner!
Guests should dress in cocktail attire. Knee-length or longer dresses, dressy jumpsuits, slacks and a coat, or a tie and slacks are all good options. Please no jeans or T-shirts. Octobers in Kentucky are generally mild, but guests who run cold may consider bringing a light shawl or jacket. Most of the event is inside, but outdoor space is available for guests who want some fresh air.
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5 p.m. We ask that guests be seated about five minutes ahead of the start time, so you may want to plan on being at the venue no later than 4:45 p.m. Please do not arrive before 4 p.m.
Unfortunately, we can't allow a plus one for every guest. Your RSVP information notes how many seats we've reserved for you.
Invited children are more than welcome. Your RSVP information notes how many seats we've reserved for your family. Please do not disregard this number. We'll have coloring activities available at the reception for kids who are interested! There's also private space available for any feedings or parents and kids who need a break from the party. Please reach out to the bride or groom with any questions or concerns.
There is ample free parking at the venue, which shares its parking lot with Greyline Station. The parking lot entrance in located between a big white building (the Herald-Leader offices) and Greyline Station (a renovated bus depot with multiple storefronts). Please note Clerestory is located in the back of Greyline and is not accessible from inside that building. If you're coming from the direction of South Broadway, turn right onto West Loudon Avenue and look for the parking lot entrance on your left. If you're coming from North Limestone, turn left onto West Loudon Avenue and look for the entrance on your right. (True to her millennial nature, Lauren won't go anywhere new without knowing the parking situation. It's stressful, y'all!)
We are not providing any transportation. Guests are encouraged to carpool or use rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft if they'd rather not drive themselves.
Yes! We're providing an open bar with soft drinks, beer, wine and liquor options. Guests can order a variety of mixed drinks like a Moscow Mule, Old Fashioned, or whatever suits your fancy. The bar will open after the ceremony and close about 30 minutes before the end of our reception.
If you'd like to gift us cash or a gift card not listed in the registry, we are happy to receive it. We are lucky enough to have most of what we need, and have curated our registry to fill gaps in our household. Please utilize this list when selecting a gift, or reach out to the bride and groom with questions if you're considering a special item we haven't selected.
