How did the farmer find his wife?

He “tractor” down

Kip and Jennifer were introduced by Matt and Candace Biggerstaff, cousin of the bride and longtime friends of the groom. Matt thought they might be a good match, so he got Candace to message Jennifer and see what she thought. It was June 10, 2017 and wheat harvest was in full swing. Kip & Jennifer both thought one date wouldn’t hurt. He began messaging her that night from the combine, eventually using the cheesiest pickup line he had. “On a scale of one to America how free are you this weekend?” It worked and they had their first date June 17th at Rusty Barrel in Ponca City, OK. The evening went great and conversation flowed easily. They connected over their faith, love of family, passion for their businesses, and their shared goals. Over the next few weeks they learned how small of a world it is and how close they’d been to meeting each other sooner. The past ten years they had crossed paths many times but it wasn't their time yet. Jennifer experienced a full year of harvests and did what she could to help by providing meals and helping move fields. Kip was a natural with Jennifer’s daycare kids and always had them roaring with laughter. After a year of dating, juggling crazy schedules, and celebrating many birthdays and holidays with each family, they began planning their next chapter. August 22nd after much anticipation and a little impatience, Jennifer met Kip at his house before they had planned on going to church. Kip began by reminding Jennifer of the first day he had ever seen her. She had driven to Ark City to meet him for their drive to Ponca. He told her his first reaction when she walked up the porch was that they would not be compatible but he was wrong. Next he went inside and got a giant card Jennifer had made for their anniversary with candy on it. The candy had been removed and he filled in the blanks mad-lib style declaring his love. After he really had her crying he went back inside and returned with the ring box. Of course she said yes!
