Matron of Honor
My sister (and no, we are not twins)! We have shared a lot of life together...the good, the challenging, and the amazing! She brings out my ridiculous side and always laughs at my antics. She is hard working, a devoted mother and wife, master interior designer, energetic Jazzercise instructor, and fellow food lover.
Best Man
Matt and I grew up together. Although there were many fights, bruises, and hurt feelings growing up, we truly became connected as adults and made the leap from brothers to besties. Matt is extremely loyal, a good father, and has the biggest heart of anyone I know.
Bridesmaid
The first night I met Mackenzie, I knew I wanted to be friends with her. She was one of the first people I met in Portland, OR and we quickly became inseparable. She is an incredible conversationalist, artist, empathizer, mother, and wife, and has taught me how to be a better friend and overall person in numerous ways. Though we have been long-distance buds for several years now, we still call each other bestie.
Groomsman
Ben and I met in an after school homework program, not because we were stupid...just lazy. Ben was always an artistic guy, and we spent many years from middle school and high school in band and choir together, as well as starting multiple rock bands. Because of Ben's recommendation, I joined the dating app that eventually led me to Kinsey. Thanks Ben!
Bridesmaid
I met Anne's laugh before I met Anne! She one of the best listeners and question-askers I've ever met. You can't help but love her, no matter who you are, and she will make you feel like the funniest person alive. Anne is constantly planning her next adventure and actively savoring all the beautiful things life has to offer.
Groomsman
Henry joined the Kal-Ben-Josh friendship in junior high when he transferred to our middle school. He was the crazy kid doing awesome dances during football practice, and still has all the moves. Just about anything he does makes me laugh, and he has a perfect sense for knowing when I need to chat with a bestie.
Bridesmaid
Anna is the chillest of the chill! We had the wonderful privilege of being roommates two different times while in Portland. She is always up for an adventure, whether big or small and she loves people hard. Anna is loyal, clever, incredibly hard working, generous, has a great sense of humor, and you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn't love her.
Groomsman
Chris and I met through a fellow dorm resident during my first year at SCSU. Chris would come up and hang out with us on the weekends sometimes, and we very quickly developed a personal friendship. Eventually, Chris and I moved into an apartment for several years. His love of music, the outdoors, and craft beer have been a staple of our friendship since day one.
Bridesmaid
We have known each other since we were about 4 years old! Our families grew up together in Rhinelander, WI and Heather and I developed our own friendship within the last several years. We share a love of good food, appreciating nature, tasting new microbrews, finding new ways to take care of our Earth, pushing back against the patriarchy, and laughing at just about anything.
Groomsman
Sam and I hit it off in the SCSU men’s choir our first year of college, and then had a period of separation (I left to finish my generals at Normandale my second year). When I re-enrolled at St. Cloud State, I met up with Sam again and he introduced me to the DEEP mythos of Batman and other comic book lore, and we became good friends - eventually living together for the final two years of college. He continues to be a fellow gaming- and superhero nerd, and I will forever follow his advice on the best movies and games to experience.
Bridesmaid
Bryanna and I met in college back in 2007 and really solidified our friendship while spending a summer in Africa. We adventured to Portland, OR following graduation and have seen a lot of life together. She is practical, loyal, incredibly hard working, hilarious, devoted to all her relationships, and she and her family have long been considered my PNW family.
Groomsman
Adam and I met on the first day at SCSU in our "Acting for Everyone" class. We remained friends throughout college, and even worked together for a brief period of time. His infectious laugh, love of music, good movies, and theater always keep our conversations fun, and I admire his ability to make a plan and stick to it...even if it means moving half the country away.
Bridesmaid
Quinn and I became friends through her attempts to play matchmaker (which didn't work, thankfully!). She has been one of my biggest cheerleaders throughout the years! Quinn is fiercely loyal, thoughtful, always spontaneous, the best picnic-planner, and incredibly quick-witted...not to mention she will win any handstand contest (seriously, don't challenge her).
Groomsman
I was bartending one night, and Matt came in with two other guys named Matt and asked for my recommendation. His loyalty is second-to-none, and his love for his friends is unshakeable. Easily one of my closest friends over the last few years, I appreciate Matt's unique talent for making anybody feel special.
