Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Due to restrictions at the venue, it is important that we have an accurate count on guests who will be attending. We recognize that not everyone will be able to arrange to travel for this event: if you will be present, or if you will be unable to attend, it would be a huge help to us if you would RSVP ASAP. For those unable to attend but who do not want to miss out, we will provide instructions on viewing a livestream of the event closer to the date.

Can I watch the ceremony if I'm unable to attend in person?

Yes! We will livestream the ceremony, with additional details and instructions to follow at a later date.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our event will be casual. Please note that Western Canada can be unpredictable in late October, and plan for some chilly weather (maybe even snow!).

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 2:00PM sharp. Please try to arrive arounds 1:30PM and be seated no later than 1:45PM.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the small nature of the wedding venue and with COVID procedures in mind, we have included on each invitation precisely who we are inviting to the wedding. We ask that guests not bring a plus one unless explicitly approved by the couple.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As with plus ones, we have specifically included children in wedding invitations where applicable. We ask that no extra guests be brought to the event unless approved by the couple. We understand childcare can be hard to find and little ones cannot be left alone, so please let us know if this is an issue so we may accommodate as needed.

Do you have any hotel recommendations? Where should I fly into? What do I need for the border?

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a courtesy 12 passenger hotel shuttle sponsored by the venue to make drop offs in the evening.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Stewart Creek Golf Club will be the location for both, and they do have parking available.

I have a food allergy or preference, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please email us at feelinsokuhl@gmail.com ASAP so that we can pass this along to the venue. They have been extremely accommodating regarding dietary need, but we need to give them prior notice.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

If you do wish to give a gift, with our wedding taking place in another country, presentation of gift cards or cash are most convenient for us! If you do prefer to give a physical item, please have it sent directly to our apartment. Please see our registry tab for links to the registries, or get in touch with us if you would like us to send you our address!
