Can I bring my child(ren)?

Answer

We love your children! However, this is an adult only event. Please do not bring your children.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire is black-tie, formal wear. For example, gowns, formal jumpsuits, ties/bow ties, slacks, suits, and dress shoes. Please do not wear shorts, casual, or athletic attire.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please do not invite an additional guest that was not included on your invitation and rsvp.

When is the RSVP deadline and how do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 15, 2021. You can RSVP here on the website by selecting the RSVP tab. Please note if you do not rsvp, unfortunately, you will not be able to attend the ceremony or reception.

What time does the wedding start? Where do I park?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will start at 3:30pm. It will be outdoors in the backyard. Immediately following the ceremony will be cocktail hour indoors. The reception will be indoors and begin at 5:30pm. Parking is free and onsite. There is handicap accessibility and parking.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have a hotel block at Fairfield Inn and Suites Marriot. 5252 Airport Square Lane Sandston, VA 23150. Reference "Gregory King Wedding" to receive the discounted rates. See Accommodations tab for more information.

Can I take pictures and post on social media?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be unplugged. Please DO NOT use your phone, cameras, and tablets during the ENTIRE CEREMONY ONLY. You may take and post as many pictures and videos as you like during the reception. Please use our hashtag #cantwaittobeking.

Will alcohol be served during reception?

Answer

There will be an Open Bar during cocktail hour and reception. Enjoy and be responsible!

Will the wedding be streamed if I can not attend in person?

Answer

We are sorry you are unable to attend, but we understand. Please select the schedule tab the day of the wedding, there you will find the link to the live stream of our wedding ceremony.

What health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?

Answer

As we are still in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to ensure the safety of all of our guests. We will provide mask, hand sanitizers, and conduct temperature checks at the door. We will be following current social distance guidelines as well. Please be safe and stay home if you are not feeling well and/or showing signs of illness.
