Kimmie and Kyle met at a house party in Morrisville. Kimmie had to write a report about how an athletic team on campus ran a practice for one of her coaching classes. Kimmie chose the only indoor sport playing at the time: basketball. Right away Kimmie notices Kyle's red beard and say's to her friend, that she made come to the practice so she wouldn't sit by herself, who is THAT?! Halloween weekend after that, Kimmie and Kyle were in the same house celebrating (appropriately). Kimmie, with the help from liquid courage, walked right up to Kyle and introduced herself. Kyle already knew who she was because they had followed each other on Instagram before that night. Kyle and Kimmie have been in love ever since. *Kimmie note- this makes me sound like a total stalker but I have no shame. I knew Kyle was my man when I first saw him:)

Kyle POV: The summer of 2020 my mom, Lisa, sat me down and showed me a small box. My mom said that she believes that I’m ready but I knew from the moment I met Kimmie, she was my future wife. In the box was a beautiful emerald cut diamond on a white gold band than I inherited from my Great Aunt Shirel when she passed away. After a small redesign with the jewelry designer I was just waiting for the right moment! July 4th weekend Kimmie and I went to my family's cottage in ADK. On the first night I asked Kimmie if she wanted my sister, Keegan, to take some pictures of us together on the beach. Totally normal, we do that every time we come up. Next thing I knew I was looking at Kimmie on one knee saying "Will you marry me?" Kimmie POV: I knew it was coming!!! Sorta lol. Kyle can't keep a secret from me, I know everything. Going up to Kyle's family cottage is always so fun and I was excited to go again that year! On the first night we get up there Kyle asked me to take some pictures on the beach like we usually do. All the sudden I look at him and he says "I'm doing it". I thought to myself, what are you talking about? This man gets down on one knee and says "Will you marry me?". Ohhhhhhh my GODDDDDD yes of course you're kidding NO YOU'RE KIDDING no seriously???? omg yes!!! wait let me see that ring again!!!! omg yes i love you!!! seriously?????sdfkdflkfjg;dflhjsghisdfdoif. It went something like that haha I blacked out a little bit.
