Dating apps really do work! Tracy and Rob were swiping around on Tinder in late summer of 2017 when they came across each others profiles. Their love of similar music and the list of mutual friends both had them wanting to get to know each other more. They met at a music festival to see a band play early on in the day but quickly enjoyed each others company. Listing to music, getting to know one another, running into family and friends, Rob and Tracy soaked up the sun and the afternoon suddenly became the evening. The night left them already planning their second date. Two years later they moved in together. Combining spaces and spending more time together proved to be easy, which was especially good when COVID hit a few months later. They only grew closer. Rob got to introduce Tracy to all of the Star Wars movies, starting with Episode 4, and Tracy’s plant collection and Garden ventures took over their house and yard. While spending their 3-year anniversary at home they took a walk around their neighborhood, wine in hand. Listening to music and taking the roads frequently walked, Rob stopped Tracy in a field to take some pictures together. While posing for photos Rob got down on one knee and asked Tracy to marry him and she joyfully said yes. They couldn’t be more excited to spend the rest of their lives together.
