What you will find is that Julia and Amanda share one brain cell curated from 22 years of friendship rooted in Spongebob references and countless hours spent on FaceTime not even speaking, but simply coexisting. Amanda is truly the Type-A Maid of Honor that every Type-B bride dreams of having. Fiercely loyal and aggressively meticulous, she can be counted on to not only be there emotionally when things get tough, but also to plan and execute the most last-minute bachelorette party ever heard of. The role of Maid of Honor was built for someone like Amanda Dang.
Briar Nguyen
Best Man
Briar quickly became one of Cory's closest friends in the 7th grade, and since then, they have made countless memories together. Whether it be staying up late playing video games, going to functions and on trips together, or meeting up for something to do, Cory knows he can always expect to have a great time with Briar. It is an honor to have Briar as Cory's best man.
Savannah Thaw

Savannah is a college friend of Julia’s and from the moment they met, Julia knew this would be the girl she could tell anything to. They ended up living together and experienced true girlhood. This included wholesome activities like cooking, watching movies, and hitting the bars. It also included things that forever bonded the two such as waxing each other and rinsing each other’s hair out in the shower with boiled water when their water heater broke. Even when she moved to Boston to pursue dental school, they remained the best of friends and will continue to be long into the future.
Ethan Brittain

Ethan was a later addition to Cory's life, originally introduced as Julia's friend after college graduation. He then became someone Cory could easily spend time with and talk to. The meme videos sent between the two are unrivaled. Ethan's willingness to hang out is always something to look forward to until they hit the golf course on a whim and end up fighting for their lives.
Annika Smith

Annika has seen both sides of Julia’s life growing up: the life spent at summer camp, and real life (the time not spent on Vashon Island working for $0.25/hour). She is one of Julia’s oldest friends and even with the time they’ve spent living in different states, she remains someone that Julia relies on. When they get together, it’s as if nothing has changed. They are still two 7-year-olds having sleepovers, baking, and dressing up as Webkinz for Halloween. Annika is the kind of fierce friend that comes around once in a lifetime.
Brian Huynh

Brian has been in Cory's life since middle school, where running track, taking multiple classes together, and being in the same friend group have led them to grow closer and maintain a strong friendship to this day. Brian is not only a great friend, but he provides great comedic relief and his caring and goofy nature is exactly what Cory needs (the pantry at his house is also goated).
Danielle Boullet

Boullet is a recent addition to Julia’s life as the coworker with whom she makes daily Starbucks runs with and completes the NYT/Daily crossword puzzles from the Seattle Times with. Boullet plays an integral part in maintaining Julia’s sanity amidst the chaos of the workplace. Truthfully, Julia sees Boullet more often than her husband-to-be. The bond created from work trauma has tied them together and on any given day, you’ll find the two of them dispatching while sipping tea, spilling tea, and reading the paper. Julia will forever be grateful that she befriended her red-headed elder at 911.
Connor Hurt

Connor came into Cory's life in high school, originally through weekly Friday Young Life meetings. As time went by, they learned of some shared common interests and he quickly became a reliable friend. Connor has a competitive nature, is well-driven, and knows how to lighten the mood with his charismatic charm. He is the guy who consistently shows up (even to a Taylor Swift concert just to end up playing MTG Arena on his phone).
Angela Bleeker
Bridesmaid
Angela is another college friend that Julia met at UW freshman year. They became fast friends and ended up spending a few years living together – one of which was spent in a 500-square foot apartment on Greek Row with two other girls. Although space was tight and privacy was limited, that apartment became grounds for a lifelong friendship to blossom. Sharing a love for skiing, traveling, and playing board/card games, Julia and Angela have spent the last five years making memories on mountains, cruises, and back home in Seattle.
Dakota Cox

Dakota and Cory were friends but bonded over the torture that was both German and Computer Science class in high school. He may have seemed quiet and reserved at first but once Cory got to know him, he became a longtime friend who is unintentionally funny, smart, and dependable. No matter how much time has passed by without talking or seeing each other, it is very easy to pick up right where they left off.
Annie Tang

When Annie started dating Julia’s older brother a decade ago, she became the sister that Julia never had. With a house full of boys, Annie leveled the playing field. Bonded over the madness that is our family’s affinity for running in half-marathon races and an unrelenting love of cats, Julia and Annie have established a sisterhood set to last a lifetime. With many more family vacations, parties, and marathons/triathlons to come, Julia wouldn’t have it any other way.
Juhyun Oh

Juhyun was originally a mutual friend through a huge friend group in high school, with him being a year Cory's senior. Over time; however, he and Cory became great friends through first playing games online together and constantly seeing each other in person at events and functions. Juhyun is now someone Cory considers a close friend who is funny, kind, and always keeps in touch. He is and will forever be Cory's 형.
Nic Boedeker
Officiant
Nicolas Boedeker: equal parts bridesmaid, equal parts groomsman. The only logical place to put dear Nic was at the altar between Julia and Cory as the officiant. Julia and Cory wouldn’t have any other person wed them as Nic has been there for all the major milestones of their relationship. From the dirty fraternity basement where they met to being there the day Julia and Cory adopted their two cats, Nic has seen it all. He’s slept on every couch in every apartment that they’ve lived in and effectively established his role as Julia and Cory’s adult child. Nic’s duality as being able to switch from being one of the girls to being one of the guys should be studied. Julia and Cory cannot wait for you all to meet him.
