Things To Do

Staying in Seattle for a while? Here are some of our recommendations and can't miss experiences!

Sites to See

- Pike Place Market: It's iconic for a reason! Fresh produce, a flying fish show, artisanal vendors, and vibrant murals. Take the Overlook Walk from the market to the Waterfront and soak in the views of Puget Sound, or stop in at the original Starbucks Coffee location for a photo-op, but go anywhere else locally for a better cup of coffee that doesn't give money to an unethical and anti-union corporation. - Washington Park Arboretum: Located near the University of Washington. There are beautiful walking trails where William often ran during cross country training in high school! Stop by the Japanese garden while you are there. - Seattle Center & Space Needle: You can't leave Washington without seeing either! - Point Defiance Park Gardens: This is where William proposed to Cherokee in August 2024. There are many beautiful gardens, and the entire park overlooks the Puget Sound.

Food

- Araya's Vegetarian Place: Some of the best Thai food in town that also happens to be vegetarian! - The Pink Door: - Din Tai Fung: Several locations throughout Western Washington. This is Cherokee's family's favorite restaurant, serving delicious dumplings and dim sum. - Pho Than Brothers: Everett based chain, serving big portions of authentic and delicious noodle soup! - Salt and Straw: Cherokee's favorite ice cream shop in Seattle - don't be scared to try their Olive Oil flavored ice cream (it's the best, we promise!!). They utilize local ingredients to create their unique flavors. - The Virginia Inn: William's first restaurant job was bussing tables and washing dishes here. French-inspired, locally sourced bistro food.

Hikes

- The Oyster Dome: Venture north to Bellingham to an overlook of Bellingham Bay and Western Washington University where William went to college. - Discovery Park: Walk down the steep bluffs to a rocky Puget Sound beach, or hike the park above and watch ferries traverse the sound. - Olympic Peninsula: If you find yourself towards the peninsula, we recommend visiting the Hoh Rainforest, Rialto Beach, Hurricane Ridge, or stopping by Forks, WA to visit where Edward and Bella fall in love. - Mt. Snoqualmie: The closest big mountain in the cascades to Seattle. A plethora of hiking trails in the area which turn into the ski trails where William trained for cross country skiing in high school. - Paradise Lodge, Mt. Rainier: Visit the largest mountain in the Cascade Mountain Range. You can drive Paradise Lodge which sits at 5,400 feet in elevation, then it is only 9,500 more feet to get to the top! There are many good hikes and trails that will keep you at a more sane elevation.
