Seemingly open until 2am on Saturdays and may be a good spot to gather after the wedding for those looking for a late night spot (it's the closest late night bar to the hotels)! A new outdoor shopping area with lots of sit-down restaurants including but not limited to True Food Kitchen, Ted's Bulletin, North Italia, Barcelona Wine Bar, Mon Ami Gabi, Jinya Ramen Bar as well as a large selection of fast casual restaurants such as &Pizza, Potbelly's, Chipotle, Sweetgreen and more. Shops include lululemon, bluemercury, Anthropologie, Sephora and more.
Brewery in a business/warehouse district with an outdoor deck and indoor taproom. It will be their anniversary weekend so it should be lively! Opens at 11:30am Friday and Saturday and closes at 9pm. See website for additional hours. Do a brewery hop and check out Crooked Run Brewery (listed next) which is around the corner!

Stone Tower is a vibrant winery with several indoor areas, patios, and balconies to sit and enjoy a flight! They often have food trucks and the views are gorgeous! As one of the biggest and busiest wineries in the area, you can count on a lively atmosphere.

If you haven't had the chance to check out the National Mall before, now is the time! This nearly 2 mile stretch of land in the heart of DC takes you past memorials, monuments and museums, all the way to the furthest east side where the Capitol building resides! Kim & Michael inspired activity: Grab a Capital Bikeshare bike and head down to the mall! Stake out a spot in the grass and people watch or catch a sunset on the west side steps of the Lincoln Memorial.
Window shop (or if you're like Kim, impulse shop) your way through the impressive collection of shops on Georgetown's M Street. Head down to Georgetown Waterfront Park to watch the ducks! There are several waterfront dining options at various price points. Grab a refreshment and take in the view! Additionally, there are two locations in Georgetown to go kayaking or paddle boarding: the Thompson Boat House and Key Bridge Boathouse.
Enjoy a visit to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History where we spent our second date! All Smithsonian museums are free (hooray!).
