Things To Do

St. Louis and Waterloo: the two towns that led Jacob and Kimberly to where they are today. Jacob was born and raised in Waterloo, IL- an old German town with no shortage of places to eat, drink, and dance to polka. If you're looking for a small town with local brews, delicious pizza, and Jacob's favorite BBQ place, look no further! Kimberly moved to the area in 2018 to attend grad school in St. Louis. After graduating, she and Jacob enjoyed living in the city for a couple of years, and found a lot of great places during their stay. Here are our recs of placed to check out in Waterloo and St Louis:
Papa Vito's Pizza

Basically a playground for adults and kids alike. Crazy architecture, 10 story high slides, and plenty of places to get lost. This is one of those weird places you won't want to miss. It's a guaranteed blast for all ages. We recommend tennis shoes.

Up-Down STL

The best barcade in St. Louis. Located in the middle of the beautiful Central West End neighborhood, next door to plenty of yummy restaurants and bars. This is one of our favorite places to go for a fun, affordable evening.

Forest Park

The biggest green space in St. Louis (1,300 acres)! Forest Park was recently named the country's #1 city park by USA Today. The St. Louis Zoo, art museum, history museum, and more are all located in Forest Park (most of which are free). If this is your first time to St. Louis, we highly recommend checking it out!
