Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes - we have provided a dress code for each event under the schedule tab. The welcome party is tropical chic, wedding day is black tie optional and beach day is casual.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 5:15 to enjoy the views with a refreshment.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend guests stay on site at the Resort at Longboat Key Club to enjoy a relaxed weekend away to take advantage of all the amenities! If you are not able to stay at the resort there are several hotels within a close radius within a short drive. Please see the accommodations tab for more details.

While we love your kids this will be an adults-only event. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy a weekend off duty!

Is there parking?

Answer

Parking is available at the Palm Ave public parking garage for the welcome party conveniently located right next to the venue. For the wedding, parking is available on site at the resort.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

For the welcome party, the Palm Ave public parking garage is steps away from the venue for those driving in. Uber and Lyft are also easily accessible to get to and from downtown Sarasota! It is about a 10 minute drive to the welcome party venue from the resort and <5 min walk from Art Ovation hotel. For the wedding, transportation will be provided from the ceremony to the cocktail hour/reception and back to the hotel area of the resort. There will be an early shuttle at 10 PM and several shuttles at 11 PM.
