Getting to Key West

If you're traveling to the island by plane there are two options: 1 - fly into Miami or Ft. Lauderdale and drive down to Key West (aprox. 3-3.5 hours but keep in mind the highway in/out is one lane so slow downs will happen! Give yourself extra time here) *our favorite 2- fly into Key West International Airport If you've never been to the keys and you don't mind the drive we highly recommend flying into either MIA or FLL and driving down to Key West. You'll take the Overseas Highway and drive through all of the Florida Keys with ocean on both sides of you! Make sure you stop at least once along the way to enjoy the unique shops and yummy treats. Our favorite place to stop is the Midway Cafe!

Where to Stay in Key West

Key West is a small island (about 4 miles long and 1 mile wide) so you can literally stay ANYWHERE on the island and you won't be too far from our venue! Casa Marina Resort (where the wedding will be held) is kind of pricey, so if you're looking for something luxurious, it's great but it is by no means your only option. In fact we recommend checking out the cool local places that Key West has to offer. They're often old Florida homes turned into small boutique hotels. We suggest either calling the hotels directly for the best rates or checking out hotels.com - most importantly book as early as possible! Another great option is Airbnb!

Most Importantly - Please Book Early!

Our wedding will take place during Florida's "high-season" (thanks Corona!) so please book flights and hotels as soon as you can! Key West is small so it will book up very very quickly and prices for travel will only go up.
