Flight

Kansas City International Airport

Guests who are traveling by air will fly into Kansas City International Airport (MCI) . The airport is currently under construction as we are upgrading the front door to our City. So, at this time, do not plan on finding an abundance of amenities. It is not a necessity to have a rental car if you are staying at the Westin (wedding hotel). The Westin is across the street from a street car stop. The street car can take you to many of the hot spots in downtown at no charge. We will have a shuttle that will pick guests up at the Westin and transport to and from the wedding venue. If you want to explore all or many of the places we have recommended under “Things To Do”, I would recommend a rental car as the street car will not take you to all of the recommended locations. If you do elect to get a rental car, there are shuttles at the airport that will take you to the rental car lot.
