Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes, please let us know if you will be traveling with a date so we can include them in the head count.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes but you must book in Generations Riviera Maya - this is the family friendly side of the resort

What day do we need to arrive?

Answer

Official wedding activities will begin with a Welcome Cocktail hour on Friday February 7th. We will be arriving on Wednesday, February 5th. You are welcome to arrive at any time and leave whenever works best for you! We are happy to have you there no matter how many days you can stay!

What is the dress code for restaurants?

Answer

DRESS CODE BREAKFAST/ LUNCH Ladies: Dresses, elegant sandals, T-shirts, skirts Permitted: Shorts, T-shirts, flip flops Men: Long pants, formal bermudas, polo shirts, sleeved T-shirts, sandals, tennis shoes Permitted: Shorts, sleeved T-shirts, flip flops Not Permitted: Swim suits, tank tops, sleeveless shirts, any type of hat DINNER Ladies: Dresses, skirts, pants, & elegant sandals Men: Pants, collared shirts & casual shoes Permitted: Formal bermudas, formal sandals Not Permitted: Hats, tank tops & flip-flops, sport shorts

Do I need to bring money for tips?

Answer

It is not required on the resort, as your gratuity is included in your stay but tipping is always appreciated by the resort staff. We have heard amazing things about the staff at both El Dorado and Generations. Small $1 and $5 bills are great to bring if you wish to give additional tips.

Do I need to renew my passport?

Answer

Yes if your passport expires within 6 months of your RETURN date
