How do I get to Livingston Manor?

Answer

By car (from the George Washington Bridge): Cross the GW Bridge (westbound, upper level), staying in the right lane. Exit immediately right onto the Palisades Parkway. Take the Palisades Parkway North to exit 18 (left hand exit). Merge onto Route 6, which will put you directly onto Route 17 west. Follow Route 17 west to exit 96 (Livingston Manor). At the end of the exit ramp, turn right. Go to a stop sign and turn left. Cross a small bridge and take immediate right (just before the gas station). You will be on Main Street, Livingston Manor. Keep straight right through town and up the mountain, 4.5 miles. The Arnold House will be on your left. (For car rentals, we recommend Maven). By bus: Shortline Buses have express service between Port Authority Bus Terminal and Livingston Manor. By plane: Stewart International Airport in the Hudson Valley is the closest large airport and is about 1 hour drive from The Arnold House.

Is there a shuttle to and from The Arnold House?

Answer

We will have buses taking guests to/from Days Inn Liberty and Arnold House. They will depart the hotel promptly at 3:30 PM. They'll depart Arnold House after the reception at 11:00 PM. We will also have a van taking guests to/from Beaverkill Valley Inn.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Black tie optional – tuxes and gowns preferred. If you wear heels, we recommend chunky heels or wedges because you'll be walking on grass!

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

We’ll offer special kosher meals for those who observe – just let us know ahead of time if you’ll need one. If you have a food allergy or are vegetarian, we’ll make sure there are options for you. What if I don't want to leave at 11 PM?

Answer

You're in luck! The party will continue in the tavern at the Arnold House till the wee hours of the morning. Think: jukebox, pool table, drinks and snacks. We won't have a shuttle that late at night, so you'll probably have to call a taxi.
