What is the easiest way to get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Both the wedding ceremony and reception will take place at the same location. From the St. Louis area, take I-70 west toward Kansas City and exit at New Florence. After exiting I-70, follow the signs for Hermann and continue down Highway 19. Please note that the drive is very scenic, with curvy roads and a few small towns along the way. Once you cross the bridge into Hermann, take the first left onto 1st Street. Continue on 1st Street as it turns into Highway 100. After going around the bend, Hermann Hill Weddings will be on the left. For the most accurate directions, we recommend entering 165 MO-100, Hermann, MO 65041 into Google Maps. The drive from the St. Louis area takes approximately 1.5 hours, so please plan accordingly.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

The Brady Hotel has a room block available, use the code: Whitaker Wedding. Hermann Hill Hotel also has a block with the code: 110726 There are a couple other options on the travel tab. Hermann is a tourist hub, especially during this time of year. Please book early as the town will fill up.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

There is a one shuttle available at the Brady Hotel. With the travel time it takes to get to Hermann the shuttle will leave by 3:10 at the latest to have everyone there on time. If you need assistance with arranging transportation please reach out to Kim or TieRre.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Dress Code: Semi-Formal Our wedding will be an indoor celebration of modern romance. Semi-formal attire is perfect — cocktail dresses, suits, or polished separates in rich fall colors; deep oranges, dark greens, purples, golden yellow, chocolate brown shades, will complement the evening beautifully. Please avoid jeans and white

What is the wedding day itinerary?

Ceremony — 4:00 PM Our ceremony begins at 4:00 PM. Doors will close once it starts to ensure an intimate, uninterrupted moment — please plan to arrive a by 3:50. Cocktail Hour — 4:30 PM Sip, snack, and celebrate as we begin the evening together. Dinner followed by Dancing — 5:30 PM

Where should I park?

Answer

The venue has plenty of parking. It is on quite a steep incline. Please be careful! There will be staff and signs to guide. The parking spots in the front of the venue are reserved.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away during the ceremony. We’ve hired a wonderful photographer to capture every moment — your only job is to be fully present and enjoy it with us. You will be encouraged to take photos during the cocktail hour and reception

Can I post photos to social media?

Answer

We kindly ask that no photos from our wedding be shared on social media until we’ve had the chance to post ourselves. Thank you for helping us keep the day intimate and special!

Answer

Our entire celebration will be indoors. There is an outdoor space that we have access to during the day.

Is there a place to smoke?

Answer

The venue has a designated outdoor smoking area for tobacco only. Marijuana use is not permitted on the property — thank you for understanding.
