Question

Do I need a passport?Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! You will also need to renew your passport if it is within six months of expiring from travel dates, which can now be done easily online for most. This is not a requirement for Mexico, but can vary by airline. Always better to be safe than sorry!

Question

My group is bigger than three people, I cannot use the booking site, what do I do?My group is bigger than three people, I cannot use the booking site, what do I do?

Answer

If your group exceeds the standard room capacity, we've got you covered. Reach out directly to Martin to arrange personalized accommodations that will keep your entire party together. Since the online booking system has limitations for larger groups, a custom reservation ensures everyone stays comfortably situated. Depending on your group's size, booking two separate reservations and requesting proximity might be more cost-effective than connecting rooms. We recommend discussing both options with our travel team to find the most suitable arrangement.

Question

Why are there two dates on the RSVP card? Why are there two dates on the RSVP card?

Answer

Our room block at the resort closes on May 14th, 2026, after which our reserved rooms will be released and may quickly sell out. We encourage guests to book their accommodations by this date. Understanding that work schedules or personal circumstances can make early planning challenging, we've also included a final RSVP deadline of July 1st to provide additional flexibility. Please note, reservations made after the May 14th date will not be eligible for automatic room upgrades that our guests will receive if available. Please be sure to remember to respond under the RSVP tab as reserving your room does not automatically do so. If you have any questions about accommodations or travel arrangements, our team at Paradise Weddings is ready to assist you.

Question

When should I book my flight? When should I book my flight?

Answer

Generally speaking, 2-4 months before travel time is typically the best time to book your flights to get the best price. We don’t suggest booking extremely far in advance. We highly recommend using a price tracker like Hopper. Enter your dates of travel and “watch” your trip. You’ll get alerts and know the best time to book to get the price best. https://hopper.com/?activeTab=flights

Question

Are kids welcome?Are kids welcome?

Answer

Guests are welcome to bring their children for the weekend, it's your vacation too! We kindly ask that only those age 18+ attend the wedding. The welcome party is open to call ages. We are happy to provide private nannying services offered by the resort on the night of the wedding. Please reach out to Kim and Mike by August 1st if you require nannying services so we can book this with the resort.

Question

Can I extend my vacation before or after the wedding? Can I extend my vacation before or after the wedding?

Answer

Absolutely, you are more than welcome to arrive early and leave whenever you'd like. You can book whatever dates work for you at the same time you make your reservation for the wedding weekend. The resort does require a minimum of a three nights stay. If your schedule and budget allows, our suggestion would be to arrive on Thursday 10/8 so you're settled in and not rushed for the welcome party on Friday night. If you plan to arrive on Friday, that's great as well! The welcome party is casual; guests can come and go whenever works for them and their arrival time.
