Milo's Bocce Garden
Across the street from our church, and our most frequented bar. Perfect patio for a drink and a snack if the weather is nice! Additionally, you may have the chance catch a game of bocce being played or even try it for yourself!
Modern Brewery & The Kings Oak
Our go to location during wedding planning, especially considering the proximity to our reception venue! Stop by for great food and great craft beer.
Tamm Avenue Bar
Another awesome patio, but this one is covered! Close to the venue with great beer options. Can be a little busy from time to time if the big game is on, but always a fun stop.
Saint Louis Zoo
Ranked time and time again as one of the best zoos in the country, and as a bonus, it's free! Located very close to the reception venue as well. Explore Forest Park and all its free amenities when you're done with the zoo.
Forest Park
This address is taking you to the "welcome center" of Forest Park however drive across the street from any of the hotels and you've found it! A city park even larger than Central Park in NYC, this park hold many STL Treasures. The Zoo, The Muny (outdoor theater), The St. Louis Art Museum, The Missouri History Museum, multiple golf courses, and so much more to discover and explore. Walk around, drive around, you won't be disappointed with all this park has to offer!
Missouri Botanical Garden
If you want to take a minute and literally "smell the roses", you've found the right spot. Our Botanical Gardens that exude beauty all year long is a great place if you have a little extra time. From Christmas lights in winter, to free summer concerts, this is one of our favorite places to take stroll. Major plus, Sasha's Wine Bar is a block away and has some of the best espresso martinis in the city along with a wonderful wine selection.
Museum at the Gateway Arch
You may have seen it a hundred time, you may have never seen it, nestled in our own National Park, The Arch is truly something you can't miss...literally!
City Museum
An eclectic "museum" that is really a work of art. Every inch is constructed out of everyday items that you would never imagine go together to make such a fun and unique place to drop in. This was a top contender for our reception venue but needed bigger space for the bigger party!
