Meet Us in St. Louis!

Megan and Patrick share a common origin story these days, a rose on Hinge. That is where the commonality in Megan and Patrick’s relationship ends, though. Megan promptly kicked off the conversation with a “What’s cooking good looking?” pickup line, and the conversation hasn’t stopped 4 years later. Not too long after Megan’s pickup line, the couple went on their first date at Perennial Brewing here in St. Louis. A night that was supposed to be a quick meet for a beer or two, turned into quite a few more as neither would let the conversation end. Nowadays, date nights are more frequently shared in the kitchen, with Megan following Patrick’s strict kitchen rules, such as “no touching the good knives” or “stay on your side of the island.” The two love their life in South City with their sweet dogs Shay and Rudy. Weekends consistently involve either a country concert or a live sports game, whether it be the Blues, Cardinals, STL City, or sitting at Milo’s watching a Notre Dame football game. When Patrick is feeling nice, he’ll even let Megan scream “Go Dawgs” at him for an entire basketball game. After the games, the two can usually be found anywhere that will let Megan have the microphone to sing her go to karaoke song “What’s Up?”. The fun and adventures started in St. Louis, but are not limited to there at all. In their time together, they’ve visited London, Münich, Amsterdam, Milan, Taormina, Salzburg, Ghent, Lugano, Camogli, Vienna, Bruges, Aix-en-Provence, New York City, Portland, Chicago (about a million times), Nashville, Denver, and Patrick’s favorite, South Bend. A message from the couple: We’re pretty lucky to love each other and bring together two groups of amazing family and friends to make up the most legendary day of all time. Thank you for being our people, for supporting us through the highs and lows of life, and for always keeping our glasses full (literally and figuratively).
