B.C. Brewery
Looking for a place to grab a beer? B.C. Brewery is one of Meredith and Connor's favorites! Up to 26 self-serve taps allow for beer exploration, including gluten free options. B.C. also has a full food menu, cornhole, darts and other games. All within a 5 minute drive from the Delta Marriott.
THB
Towson Hot Bagels (THB) is a favorite breakfast spot for Meredith & Connor (+ the rest of the Bmore area)! You can order online and pick up or head straight into the shop. Our usual orders: Meaty Bagel with Cheese (CK) / Taylor Ham, Egg, & Cheese (MW) extra toasted on egg bagels!
Five Iron Golf
Connor is a big golfer and we know a ton of attendees are, too! Five Iron (5i) is a unique indoor urban golf experience for golfers and non golfers alike. Complete with indoor golf simulators, bar, restaurant, and pool tables, 5i is a great place to check out while in town.
National Aquarium
One of Connor's favorite places! Explore award-winning exhibits and meet 20,000 animals at the National Aquarium, located on Baltimore's Inner Harbor. The shark walk is an exhibit that you won't want to miss!
Sagamore
Sagamore Spirit was founded by Kevin Plank, who had previously founded, Baltimore based, Under Armour. This world-class waterfront distillery offers tours, tastings, and a full Rye Whiskey bar (Nineteen O'Nine) that also serves lite fare.
Guinness
The only place that Guiness is brewed in the US is right here in Baltimore (near BWI airport)! This site features a taproom, restaurant, and brand store along with guided and self-guided tours. Meredith highly recommends their Smith Island Cake!
Pappas
Maryland is famous for its crabs - more importantly, its crab cakes. Pappas has been labeled as home to the best crab cakes in the state! This is a a great spot to grab lunch/dinner and taste one for yourself.
JB Coffee
The cutest micro coffee shop you ever did see! In addition to coffee, John Brown also serves excellent pastries, burgers, and other daily specials. John Brown is about a 5 min drive from the Delta and on the way to the chapel.
The Bygone
Atop Baltimore's Four Seasons and nestled within Harbor East, The Byone is one of Meredith & Connor's favorite cocktail bars. If you're looking for a more ritzy night, this speakeasy themed bar & restaurant with panoramic views of Baltimore's Inner Harbor is sure to please. Reservations are suggested for dinner and walk ins can usually be accommodated for bar seating.
Vaccaro's
One of downtown Baltimore's most famous bakeries, Vaccaro's, has a satellite location in Hunt Valley just a few minutes from the Delta! Serving up cannolli's, gelato, and more, this spot is a surefire way to please a sweet tooth! Meredith's favorite is the chocolate neapolitan pastry - layers of flaky pastry with chocolate and vanilla mousse.
Oregon Ridge
Get out to the great outdoors. Oregon Ridge Park is a 1,043-acre park in Cockeysville, Maryland. The park features walking and hiking trails, nature center, picnic and recreation areas, a lodge, and cross-country skiing and sledding.
NCR Trail
Built in 1832, the Northern Central Railway (NCR) operated for 140 years and extended from Downtown Baltimore to Sodus Point in Upstate New York until hurricane Agnes destroyed miles of tracks. Now known as the Torrey C. Brown Trail, it is a great flat and paved trail to walk along the Gunpowder River.
