Their story began in 2007 when Meredith and Connor were both casted in their 8th grade production of Les Miserable - Connor as Marius and Meredith as Cosette. As the story line goes, the two characters share a kiss on stage after singing "A Heart Full of Love." This kiss was a first for both of them and one that would lead them into the marriage they are pursuing today!

There were a few years in college that they spent apart; however, Connor pursued Meredith unceasingly. The two always kept in contact and would meet for friendly drinks occasionally while home in Pittsburgh for the holidays - as Connor was living in Florida and Meredith in Maryland. While Meredith was performing in Thoroughly Modern Millie in Baltimore in 2016, Connor made a surprise trip to attend and broke the news that he would be moving back to Pittsburgh. From that point forward, the two started to make efforts to see each other regularly on weekends. By February 2017, a second chapter of dating began! Connor eventually moved to Maryland and the two have been in Maryland together ever since!

While on a trip in Myrtle Beach with two of their greatest friends, Connor planned an entire day of fun activities - something that wasn't out of the ordinary for him! The day started off with a helicopter ride over Myrtle Beach then onto a Tiki Barge excursion on the Intracoastal Waterway. While walking on the beach after dinner that night, Connor walked Meredith towards a pathway of signs adorned with photos from various milestones in their relationship. Connor stopped at each sign to say a few words about it and at the final one got down on one knee! The spectators from the balconies above cheered and the photographer Connor planned captured it all! The final surprise of the night came when a limo pulled up to take us over to Murrells Inlet to celebrate!
