Everyone is invited to come mingle and have a drink at an Alaskan staple with the future newlyweds. Food is available for purchase at the brewery or there is a restaurant within walking distance.

This event is only for the wedding party.

Cocktail attire is requested. This includes knee length to floor length dresses or slacks with nice shirts. Suit jackets are optional but recommended for the weather.
Temperatures at higher elevations in September, like our venue, can be between 30-40 degrees and breezy. The road to Arctic Valley is a scenic bumpy road and takes about 20 minutes to drive from the base to the lodge. Please a lot enough time to traverse the road and stop for pictures along the way prior to the ceremony start time at 2pm.
2:30 pm - 5:00 pm
After the ceremony, the chair lift will be running to shuttle guests to and from the top of the mountain, weather permitting. Guests will be privy to even more incredible views of our beautiful state. The chair lift will run for approximately 2 hours. It takes about 20 minutes to ride to the top and 20 minutes to ride back to the lodge. Comfortable shoes are recommended. No alcohol is permitted on the chair lift.
For guests not wanting to ride the chair lift, an extended cocktail hour inside the lodge will start immediately after the ceremony. This will include refreshments, a self-serve bar, and appetizers located on the first floor of the venue. Guests are free to walk around the property during this time for more scenic views close to the lodge. Yard games will be set up outside of the lodge, weather permitting.
5:00 pm
A buffet-style dinner will commence on the first floor.
6:30 pm - 10:30 pm
The dance floor will kickoff with cake cutting, first dances and an open cocktail bar.
10:45 pm
Send the newlywed couple off with well wishes as we depart the reception.
