When & where is the wedding?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the wedding day please stick to light pastel colours. Eastern Wear for ladies, Eastern/ Suits for men. For the Friday Night there is no colour scheme however it will be smart casual/ eastern wear. Midlands does get cold in the evenings in August so we do suggest bringing something warm :)

Where and Why should I stay?

Answer

As we are having a wedding weekend, we would love everyone to stay near the venue. There are many beautiful accommodation options in Nottingham Road & the Midlands Meander area, including cottages, B&Bs, and boutique hotels. We recommend booking early as August is a popular month. A list of suggested stays is available on the website.

Netherwood is 2 hours from King Shaka Airport and 1h 45 mins from Umhlanga

How do I get there?

Answer

The closest major airport is: King Shaka International Airport — Durban (±2 hours) Self-drive or shuttle services are recommended. Directions will be provided.

Is transport provided on the day?

Answer

We do suggest hiring a car from Durban. Safe parking is available at the venue. We are exploring transport options; details will be shared closer to the day.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

August in the Midlands is generally cool and dry. It can get chilly in the evenings, so please bring something warm.

Yes — everything will take place at Netherwood Farm, so no additional travel is needed between events.
