Things To Do

Here are the best places to eat & things to do in the Forest Hills, Long beach and Manhattan areas!
5 Burro Cafe

5 Burro Cafe

72-05 Austin Street, Forest Hills, NY 11375
, (718) 544-2984

Will and I constantly go here on double dates with friends or just because we need it for the 3rd time that week! Cheap amazing frozen margarita's and pitchers, huge portions, unlimited chips and salsa. We recommend the queso fundido, anything that has steak, and Julia's personal favorite; the chimichanga.

Forest Hills Station House

106-11 71st Avenue, Forest Hills, NY 11375
, (718) 544-5000

While the drinks can be slightly pricey (but less than manhattan), this is a great place to sit, have a few drinks, and kill some time!

El Coyote

70-09 Austin Street, Forest Hills, NY 11375
, (718) 268-0777

If you couldn't tell by now Will and I love Mexican food but this place is really great for their jumbo drinks and great prices. It will be less crowded than the other two locations but is also a little farther out on Austin st.

Metro Taco

Metro Taco

102-15 Metropolitan Avenue, Forest Hills, NY 11375
, (347) 494-4947

Could anyone tell that Forest Hills has good Mexican food by this list? We especially live this place for its nacho tower!

Bamboo Ya

97-11 Queens Boulevard, Rego Park, NY 11374
, (718) 806-1228

The only Japanese food restaurant we will eat at. There simply is not a better one (don't quote us). They have the cutest restaurant, amazing bento boxes with huge portions, a wide menu selection, loads of sushi and never a wait time to eat there! It is far from most of the excitement of Austin st if you are looking for something quieter.

New York, NY 10014

Broadway

Broadway, New York, NY

SUMMIT One Vanderbilt

Mom's Kitchen & Bar

Mom's Kitchen & Bar

, (718) 267-0142

If you are okay venturing a little farther into Queens then this is a must try spot! Will and I constantly come here & keep coming back to try new things on their creative menu. We are currently trying to recreate their tomato soup & we dare you to try and finish one if their breakfast burrito’s. We even went here for both of our birthdays!
