We met in 2021, both working at Trader Joe’s.

I remember the first time meeting H and he was training me in frozen my first week at Trader Joe’s. I was really nervous and wanted to do my best. As we were about to go into the freezer he turns to me and says something along the lines of, “It’s colder than the surface of mars in here.” And disappears into the freezer. He of course does not remember this but to this day I still say that to every trainee who I take in the freezer.

I remember training Kiki at Trader Joe’s. I’ll be completely honest, I had so much going on at that time in my life that it’s all a little hazy. However I can remember the first time we were found out dating. I had a bad habit of writing my section (frozen) in the grocery section (Kiki was writing). Kirsten, my mate sponsor at the time gave me a hard time about it. She pressed me a little on it and I admitted we were dating. I also defended my vacation section writing by saying I could name every product in the freezer and all my holes and lows in the section. And I did. And I was right. Because I was good at my job! Besides trapping our friend and Compatriot Indigo in the freezer, Kirsten was the first at the Joes to find out we were dating.

We love to go to Florida Panthers games! (Thanks Shane and Carissa) We also like to go on adventures all around Florida…from Arcadia to Orlando and even sometimes Miami.
