Did you know? We met on Tinder! Not all love stories start online, but ours did. I was going into my second year of college in Red Deer and Eric was working a fulltime job in Cochrane when we matched on Tinder and started talking. After a few months of talking online, we decided it was time to meet in person. Eric drove up to Red Deer from Cochrane to meet for our first date at Glenn's Tea House. I was so nervous for the date that I almost turned my vehicle around 3 separate times! Good thing I trusted my instincts and forged ahead. It was only after the (very successful) first date that I learned that both my mom Julie and younger sister Sydney stalked us from afar in their car. After that, the rest was history with Eric moving up from Cochrane and us renting our first apartment together where we adopted our first cat Pepper. After a year, we then moved into our current home and ended up adopting one gorgeous German Shepard named Maya and one more cat named Salt.
