Kiersten and Emily first met as partners for a nursing school project, and to be honest, it took them a minute to warm up to each other. That initial "we’ll see how this goes" phase quickly turned into a soul-sister bond that has carried them through so many unique stages of life since. From surviving 12-hour shifts to living as roommates for over six years, they navigated the country together as travel nurses and made a lifetime of memories along the way. Emily also happens to be the best wing-woman; her Chicago Bears jersey gave Seth the perfect excuse to strike up a conversation the night he and Kiersten met at a bar! Kiersten feels so lucky to have her by her side on this special day.

Best Man
Seth and Weston have known each other since kindergarten, competing in sports like basketball and football, and recess sports like dodgeball and kickball. In high school they would have sleepovers, pool parties, build bicycle ramps, and just drive around with their upgraded stereo systems they installed themselves. Weston was the first of the friend group to move to Colorado and Seth followed a couple years later. They embraced the Colorado lifestyle - skiing and snowboarding, hiking and playing golf. Their dogs Ollie and Cleo became instant best friends as puppies, going camping and swimming in the lakes. Weston has really gotten to know Kiersten and Seth through these adventures and Seth couldn’t be happier having him by his side!
Laken France
Ring Bearer
Kiersten’s sweet nephew, Laken, has officially stepped up to the plate as the Ring Bearer! At 11 years old, he spends most of his time trying to teach Kiersten and Seth the finer points of saltwater fishing and showing them how to ride his array of gadgets—from OneWheels to Segways—without ending up in the ER. Between coaching them on his favorite hobbies and making sure to frequently remind them exactly how old they are, Laken is a huge part of their lives. Kiersten and Seth are so proud of the young man he’s becoming and are excited for him to be a part of their big day.
Rowan France
Flower Girl
Kiersten’s niece, Rowan, is taking her place as the Flower Girl! At 8 years old, she is definitely "8 going on 18"—she’s sassy, fun, and always testing the limits (mostly because she knows exactly how cute she is). Rowan is also the ultimate visionary; she’s been telling Kiersten she was going to be the flower girl since the first time she met Seth, back before the couple had even been dating for a year. Kiersten and Seth are so excited to finally make her dream a reality and watch her own that aisle!

Kiersten and Seth couldn’t think of a better person to marry them than Kiersten’s brother-in-law, Kelly. Having been a part of the family since Kiersten was in middle school, Kelly has had the unique opportunity to witness her journey through almost every stage of life. Kelly hasn’t just watched Kiersten grow up; he’s watched the two of them grow as a couple and truly understands how they complement each other. Having someone who has seen their history unfold and knows them both so well makes this moment incredibly special, and they are so honored to have him at the altar with them.
