How to get to The Firehouse from IAH and back? 500 IAH DOWNTOWN DIRECT METRO Bus 500 travels to and from the George R. Brown Convention Center (GRB) and Bush Airport (IAH), for $4.50 one way. The route operates seven days a week, every 30 mins, from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. *Pick up and drop off (IAH) is at Terminal C, Baggage Claim Level, West Curb at door C-104. You can pay cash for the bus, but you must have the exact fare as the bus does not give change. Deposit cash and coins into the farebox when you board. You can also buy the ticket in advance downloading the METRO Q Mobile Ticket app (select METRO Park & Ride). Once you arrive to GRB, you can take an uber or if you are up for it; walk a block and take the Eastbound METRORail Green Line (Magnolia Park - Coffee Plant & 2nd Ward).
