Best Man
Jacob has been one of my best friends since we first met at St. Paul’s preschool. In fact, Jacob and I had plans to go to Toppling Goliath Brewery when I asked if he could invite the cute girl I was talking to—and thus Jacob was part of Anna and I's first date! I was honored to serve as Best Man for Jacob and Aftin’s wedding, and I feel privileged to have Jacob as mine.

Amy and I met our Sophomore year at Wartburg and became fast friends! While we can't seem to live near each other, we find ways to see each other by visiting new amazing cities together. While we can always find hours of things to talk about, we spend most of our time together playing DND with our college friends!
McKenzie Kielman
Best Woman
McKenzie is my sister and one of my best friends. Although many erroneously say she and Jesse laugh the same, the Kielman siblings still have much more in common, much to the chagrin of the Waverly and Wartburg communities.
Molly Schaefer
Matron of Honor
Molly is my cousin, though she's been more like a big sister! She moved in with my family for a little bit when she was in college and I was in middle school. She had the best wardrobe, hair crimper and could drive so I quickly looked up to her. While we love to travel together, our favorite moments usually involve PJs, a glass of wine, and watching Friends or Grey's Anatomy.
Clayton Happel

Clayton and I have been friends since junior high. He's my go-to guy to talk football, and has shared his knowledge as a grill master with me as well. I was honored to officiate for Clayton and Jayde’s wedding, and feel privileged to have Clayton as a Groomsman for mine.
Molly Hanson
Maid of Honor
Molly Hanson in my best friend from High School. Freshman year she took me under her wing when I didn't know anybody. While we have not lived in the same place since high school, we both cannot turn down a trip and have traveled together ever since! Molly can also make the best latte you'll ever have!
Caleb Smith
Groomsman
Caleb and I have been friends since junior high and—once Caleb wised up and transferred to Wartburg—roommates in college. From watching the 6 p.m. local news to watching the 10 p.m. local news, we really partied it up as roommates. I was honored to serve as a Groomsman for Caleb and Kara’s wedding, and feel privileged to have Caleb as a Groomsman for mine.
Cassie Wahl

Cassie Conlee is my cousin and an amazing friend. When we were younger, we dreamed of traveling the world and truly became close when we both moved away from home. There is no one that I would rather multitask on FaceTime with or connect with over a glass of wine!
Andrew Withers

Andrew and I have been friends since high school where they quickly bonded over the most beautiful thing in the world: George Clooney. Co-originator of the notorious Clooneyfest (and our infamous attempt at a spin off, Don Cheadlefest), Andrew has been a great friend for over a decade—despite going to Luther. JI was honored to serve as a Groomsman for Andrew and Elle’s wedding, and feels privileged to have Andrew as a Groomsman for mine.
Paige Conlee

Paige Conlee is my cousin and an incredible friend. While she would probably rather be in bed cuddling her dog, Pippa, she is always fun to tour a new city with and can find hidden gem anywhere. She was also a Champion of the couple's 2022 Beer Olympics!
Nick McCampbell
Groomsman
Nick lived across the backyard fence from me as kids; we quickly became friends playing football, riding bikes around the block, and inventing games on the trampoline. Unfortunately, Nick moved during elementary school; fortunately, it was only a block away, so the good times continued! Nick is also an alum of the Waverly Fareway Meat Market and inventor of the acclaimed “blueberry spaghetti.”
Zoe Lemke

Zoe Lemke is my friend from Kansas City. We have only known each other for a few years, but she has quickly become a huge part of my life in KC. We learned that we were both studying abroad in Japan at the same time in college; it feels as though fate wanted us to meet sooner! She can also make the best cocktail to match your mood. She even got me to like gin!
Jacob Eick
Groomsman
Jacob is my cousin and one of my first friends. Jacob and I were constantly playing and going on adventures as kids—including an ill-fated (and muddy) adventure to find the end of a rainbow through a cornfield. Jacob also boasts as the winner of the 2001, 2003, and 2007 family Easter egg hunts. Jacob partied with us after the first Waverly Oktoberfest, and is ready to boogie again on September 9!

Meghan is my amazing friend in Kansas City! While we have only know each other a few years, it feels like a lifetime! She is best known for being an expert on all things KC and has shown Jesse and I all the amazing things that have made it feel like home! I couldn’t imagine a better Bill Murray to our George and Amal Clooney.
