FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Once you receive your formal invitation, please RSVP by May 1, 2026

Question

Can I bring a plus one or my kids?

Answer

Due to limited capacity at the venue, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Stylish and comfy. Dress or jumpsuit, Barong or Filipiniana, or jacket and slacks. Whatever makes you feel your best.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive around 3pm to allow time to ride the Great Escape ski lift to the ceremony site. The ski lift is approximately 12 minutes with views of the mountains and lake nearby. Please take your seats by 3:30pm. Signs will guide you to the correct ski lift, and Schweitzer staff will be available to assist all guests as needed. Guests using wheelchairs, walkers, canes, or other assistive devices can be safely accommodated on the lift, and staff will transport assistive devices to the top as well. If you arrive earlier, feel free to explore the mountain top or enjoy a drink at SkyHouse. Please take your seats by 3:30pm!

Question

Is a ski lift the only way up to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. All guests will be provided a ski lift pass by Schweitzer staff or wedding party members upon arrival.

Question

What happens if it rains or if there is inclement weather?

Answer

Our ceremony will move indoors to the North Room where the cocktail hour and reception are located. You will be notified via text messaging from the Zola app or a wedding party member about the changes, if needed.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes there is parking available at Schweitzer. Lakeview Lot, Village Lane, and Gateway Lot are all open and free for parking. If these parking lots fill up during event weekends, there is a shuttle available from Fall Line and the Fire Station Roundabout. Underground paid parking is available for $25 per night for Selkirk guests but included in resort fees for Humbird, Whitepine, and 5 Needles.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
