We're getting married!

It all started with a swipe. In the middle of Omaha, we crossed paths on Tinder. Then a simple message that sparked something far beyond what either of us expected. Our first date? Taco Co in Benson, where we shared tacos, laughs, and felt like we’d known each other forever.

From there, the adventures kept coming. We also spent time on the road, visiting friends and family across the country, and exploring new places along the way. Each trip, whether big or small, was an opportunity to create new memories and grow closer. We cheered on Iowa Women’s Basketball and Iowa football, feeling every high and low with each game. Whether it was celebrating a big win or sharing a quiet moment after a tough loss, those game days became traditions we looked forward to. Alongside the sports, we found ourselves diving into new things. We learned to curl, laughing at our attempts and celebrating the small victories. We spent countless nights playing trivia with friends, testing our knowledge, and making memories. And when the world slowed down, we were just as happy enjoying quiet nights in, binge-watching our favorite shows, and enjoying the simple comfort of being together. We backpacked through the Grand Tetons, hiked the trails of Yosemite, and explored the sparkling blue waters of Crater Lake. We wandered the snowy peaks of Rocky Mountain National Park and stood in awe before Mt. Rainier. The mountains became our home away from home, and the memories we created there will last a lifetime!

Along the way, one of our favorite moments came early one morning on a walk with Kona at Ryan’s family’s farm, when a simple question was asked and a lifelong promise was made. We celebrated the proposal with a cozy breakfast at Ditto’s with both of our parents, the perfect start to an unforgettable day.
