God Made it Happen

Sometimes, the best love stories start quietly—just two people crossing paths in the same small town. Karla and Justin actually went to school together, though Justin was a grade younger. Back then, they were simply familiar faces in the same hallways, unaware of how intertwined their futures would one day become. After graduation, life took them in different directions. Karla headed off to college while working at Grant County Oil, a local gas station. Coincidentally—or maybe not—Justin was a very regular customer. As the days went on, Karla started to notice the little things: what he liked to grab, what time he’d stop in. She even began setting his usuals aside behind the counter for him. Somewhere in the middle of stocking shelves and ringing up sodas, she caught feelings. Quietly, she began praying for him, not knowing what the future held—just hoping their paths might cross again, this time for real. Years later, they reconnected with a simple SnapChat add. They began casually snapping back and forth, but before long, Justin—claiming he “couldn’t remember what was said”—asked for her number. Whether he really forgot or just needed an excuse, it worked. From that moment on, everything changed. Their first “official” date wasn’t anything grand or scripted. It was a trip to Home Depot to pick out paint and a Chick-fil-A drive-thru dinner eaten in the Menards parking lot. (And yes, for the record, the Chick-fil-A wasn’t even good that night—but the company sure was.) Since then, it’s been laughter, growth, prayer, and love. A story that started with everyday moments, quiet prayers, and a lot of timing, turned into something unforgettable.
