Myles & Kiara first crossed paths in 2012 when they attended the same middle school and became good friends all throughout high school. It wasn’t until the summer of 2016, just before their senior year, that they began to realize there might be something more than friendship between them. Both feeling a bit hesitant, Kiara’s sister, Kathy, encouraged Myles to take the leap and ask Kiara out on a date to see if their connection was real. On November 22, 2016, they went to the movies together, and by the end of the night, they both knew their feelings were mutual. They spent the next two months dating privately before revealing their relationship to their friends (who, of course, didn’t believe them at first!). Fast forward 8 years, Myles & Kiara are so excited to finally be tying the knot! Over the years, their love has only grown stronger, even through the challenges of distance—first with 4 years of college with Myles in San Diego and Kiara in Phoenix, and later 4 years with Myles in medical school in Chicago while Kiara stayed back home to complete her masters in California. Now, they feel so blessed to be stepping into this next chapter of their lives together. Myles & Kiara cannot wait to celebrate their big day & finally say "I do!" with all of their loved ones who have supported them along the way!

Myles proposed to Kiara with a scavenger hunt through their hometown, leading her on a trip down memory lane. It all began with a letter and a single red rose left at her door, along with the first clue. This clue led her to the movie theater where they had their very first date in 2016. At the theater, she spoke to the ticket counter and was handed a second rose along with her next clue, which led her to the spot where they shared their first kiss. From there, Kiara followed a trail of clues, each bringing her to another meaningful location from their love story, until she finally arrived at the last stop. At the Rose Garden in Riverside, beneath a beautiful gazebo, Myles was waiting for her. Surrounded by the love and memories they had built together, he got down on one knee and asked her to be his forever. With tears in her eyes and a heart full of joy, Kiara said yes! To make the moment even more special, Myles surprised Kiara with a three-day getaway to Palm Springs the same night to celebrate their engagement.
