Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. Think, at minimum, your Sunday best, but if you want to get fancier, feel free!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony begins at 4:00 PM EST. We will begin on time!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available at The Prickel Barn. It is a gravel parking lot, but there is a shuttle provided by the venue that will pick up guests from the parking lot and drop them off at the barn.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have been given a +1, it will be indicated once you RSVP for you/your family on the website.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your children have been invited, their names will be indicated when you RSVP for you/your family on the website.

Question

Can I take pictures/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We please ask that you refrain from taking pictures or videos on personal cell phones, cameras, or video cameras during the ceremony. We have hired professionals to capture photos and video of our big day, so please just enjoy the moment! Photos/videos during the reception are welcome!

Question

Will the reception include a bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar during cocktail hour and the reception. They will be serving beer and hard seltzers (no wine or liquor). Enjoy the drinks on us because NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED. Please drink responsibly :)

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Since the closest hotels are ~20-30min away, we will not be arranging for transportation to/from hotels to the ceremony. We hope everyone understands this decision! We ask that with this in mind, please drink responsibly and plan to have a designated driver. The Prickel Barn does allow guests to leave their cars parked overnight in the lot as long as they are picked up by the next morning!
