Every Christmas we watch eight-year-old troublemaker, Kevin McCallister, defend his home against burglars on Christmas Eve. The infamous Home Alone House is located 2 blocks away from our wedding venue! Make sure to stop by for a photo-op before the ceremony or during your stay.
If you're interested in exploring the Windy City that we called home, take the scenic route! Starting right before Glencoe Beach, take Sheridan Rd south which will eventually lead you to Chicago. We often took this route on lazy Sundays when we wanted to get out of the house and see the Fall leaves and beautiful houses.
