What is the dress code?

Answer

All the events listed on the schedule indicate the dress code. Our wedding ceremony and reception dress code is black tie optional. We ask that women wear floor length gowns, and for men, a tux or a dark-colored suit and tie are appropriate. We ask that all women refrain from wearing white, cream, or any tone that can be mistaken for white.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 3 pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes, by 2:45 pm, before the ceremony to get settled.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! We highly recommend staying at the Piedra De Agua hotel or the hotel blocks located in the historic center which are only a few steps from the church. Please see the travel page on our website for details of our hotel blocks and options.

May I bring a plus-one?

Due to venue capacity limitations, we kindly request that only guests and children specifically named on the invitation attend our wedding celebration. We appreciate your understanding as we work to create an intimate and meaningful day.

Yes, we welcome your photography during our wedding celebration! We kindly ask that you enjoy capturing memories while being mindful not to obstruct the professional photographers or step into the aisle.

Known as the safest city in Mexico, Merida offers a welcoming and secure environment for travelers to explore and enjoy. It is safe to walk around at any time of the day (including late at night).

It is common to walk throughout the central area of Merida. For longer distances, Uber, DiDi, and taxis are popular and safe to use.
