Kiana and Latoyia have known each other since kindergarten and have been best friends since then. Kiana was Latoyia's maid of honor and is also the Goddaughter to Latoyia's daughter, Julia. Latoyia helped Kiana move to Chicago for med school and also helped her move back home to New Orleans from Charleston. Latoyia is thoughtful, incredibly organized, and is an amazing social worker. She resides in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Beatrice Horsford

Bea has always been Kiana's biggest supporter. She's her big sister and taught her how to drive and supported her in undergrad and medical school. She has been to all four of Kiana's graduations. Kiana also happens to be the GodMother and Confirmation Sponsor to Bea's eldest, Alaina. Bea is absolutely thrilled for Kiana and Grant and is looking forward to their big day. Bea is a superb educator, a wonderful wife and an awesome mom, and a blessing to those around her. Beatrice resides in Columbus, Ohio with her husband, two daughters, and Bella, their pug.
Kisha Petty

Kisha is Kiana's twin sister and has perhaps known her the longest (besides their sister Bea). Kisha and Kiana attended St. Louis Cathedral elementary school and professionally jumped double dutch rope together for three years. Kiana absolutely adores Kisha's three kids. Kisha is also an educator, a dedicated mom, and is quite active in her church parish. She resides in New Orleans. Louisiana.
Latoye Brown

Latoye is one of Kiana's closest friends. They went to Benjamin Franklin Senior High School together and have known each other since the 9th grade. Latoye and Kiana have taken road trips together and have visited each other when living in different cities. Latoye has been a witness to Kiana doing the robot and her best Michael Jackson moves for over 25 years. She is fierce, passionate about education, and an incredibly intelligent leader. Latoye resides in New Orleans where she is the Chief Executive Officer for the Audubon Montessori Charter School System.
Tamajah Jordan
Bridesmaid
Kiana has also known Tamajah since their days at Benjamin Franklin Senior High school. They both have visited each other in their respective cities and have run in races together. Kiana was a bridesmaid in Tamajah's wedding. Tamajah is a also a physician and taught Kiana everything she knows about medicine. Kiana continues to be in awe of Tamajah's tireless dedication to providing medical care in third world countries during medical missions all across the globe. Tamajah currently resides in Chicago, Illinois.
Grace Moffett

Grace is Grant's older sister. Kiana and Grace were good friends before Grant and Kiana started dating, as Grace was a nursing administrator at one of the hospitals at which Kiana rotated for her residency in Alabama. Grace and Kiana often hung out together. Kiana remembers Grace as a dedicated and kind nurse. She resides in Mobile, Alabama, with her husband, Kyle Moffett, one of the groomsmen. Kiana and Grace are thrilled to call each other sisters in law!
Calvin Tregre Jr
Best Man
Calvin Tregre Jr. is Grant’s big brother. Calvin has always been there for Grant, through “thick and thin.” Their parents instilled in them that brotherhood is one of the most important things in this world. Whether it was teaching Grant how to play basketball, how to fight, how to breakdance, or how to remain conscious of social issues within our community, Calvin has always been someone that Grant has looked up to. Calvin and Grant could stay up all night debating about philosophy, religion, current political affairs, or just playing spades and talkin’ trash. Calvin even encouraged Grant to explore his relationship early on with Kiana and encouraged Grant to remain open to true love. He was right on point! Calvin is a seasoned attorney in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Marcus Green
Best Man
Marcus is one of Grant’s best friends, but is really considered his brother. Marcus and Grant have been tight since they were 14 years old (high school years), during Bio-Star at Xavier. As a matter of fact, they regularly relied on Tamajah (see Bridesmaids list) during Bio-Star….Thanks Tamajah! Marcus and Grant have been through the many ups and downs of life together and have always supported and strengthened each other. Grant has always admired Marcus for his tenacity, grit, and straight-up resilience in all his life pursuits. Marcus is the owner of The Green Law Firm in New Orleans, LA.
Tony Decuir Jr

Grant has known Tony all his life, given that Tony is one of Grant’s older cousins. Tony has been a positive role model for Grant while they were growing up. Tony is always ready to crack a joke, get the party started and knows how to bring the best out of people. Although he is a jokester sometimes, Tony is a very intelligent brother who has always supported Grant in all his endeavors. He also seems to be a muscle man….not sure who else in the family got that trait. Tony is a highly regarded Podiatrist in Baton Rouge, LA.
Ceri Warnie
Groomsman
Grant has known Ceri all his life…given that Ceri is one of Grant’s older cousins. Grant has learned so much from his cousin Ceri over the years and really values their relationship. Ceri gave Grant his first internship in Engineering, before Grant really knew what Engineering was. Ceri is also Grant’s daughter’s (Kai) Parrain and Grant is the Parrain of one of Ceri’s daughters (Hayden). Ceri and Grant have often chopped it up over religious topics and over the years they have built a sounding board for one another when it comes to their faith system. Ceri is a distinguished Civil Engineer in Houston, TX.
Kyle Moffett
Groomsman
Kyle is Grant’s brother-in-law, but more like a brother-for-life. Grant has always respected Kyle for loving his sister in a way that cannot be explained. Kyle is a man of his word, strong faith and maintains true integrity. Grant and Kyle can be found on the golf course chopping it up and just having a good time. Kyle has an angry 3-iron that he keeps in his golf bag. Ya’ll don’t want none of that. Kyle is a very successful business owner in Mobile, Alabama.
Anthony Preston

Anthony is one of Grant’s oldest friends and is considered his brother. Anthony and Grant have been tight since the 5th grade at Corpus Christi Elementary School, where they often got into trouble together. Grant and Anthony also attended St. Augustine High School (Represent ’03, Khalfani!). Anthony has always been a true brother to Grant. Be it back in the days or 'til this day, Grant knows that he can always depend on Anthony to be honest, real, and supportive. Anthony has been there for Grant during the good times and bad, but has always remained a steadfast brother. Anthony is an esteemed Educator in Houston, TX.
Kai Alicia Tregre

Kai is a brilliant, beautiful, and talented 11 yr old. She's Grant's precious daughter and will be Kiana's stepdaughter. Kai enjoys learning all about science, going to aquariums and zoos, dancing, singing, and acting.
Julia White
Flower Girl
Julia is Latoyia's daughter and Kiana's Goddaughter. Julia is quite the character and can light up any room she enters. She is entering the 2nd grade. She enjoys dancing, playing dress up, and watching YouTube.
Evan Morgan
Ring Bearer
Evan Morgan is Grant’s Godson and charming little cousin! He's 10 years old and likes playing with LEGOS, reading, watching movies, playing basketball, and jumping on the trampoline with his two brothers. Evan is a member of St. Leo Catholic Church and is also an Altar Server there.
